Material Research – Dynamic Surfaces

Dynamic surfaces is a huge part of our work. Working with textiles and other surfaces together with interactive technology the dynamic of a given surface becomes interesting. Therefore as an ongoing investigation we are looking into how these dynamic surfaces can be structured, transformed and interacted with.

In this investigation we have identified different principles of dynamic and transformation and these results are made into dynamic samples without any specific use in mind. Thereby they are opening up to discussions of scale, speed, materiality, transparency and functionality – from small objects, to wearables and further to spacial structures.
