Shanghai Art & Design Academy is one of the most influential, oldest and best-known colleges of art and design in China. The Academy has been dedicated to the education of professional artists and designers, and is taking the lead in providing programs related to contemporary visual arts, design, and art education, as well as being a major contributor to the thinking within the fields of art, design, and art education.

In this workshop we worked with students from among other wood carving, jewel making, panel painting and ceramics. We introduces different ways to enchant the material and techniques so wellknown to them by adding conductive materials, sensors and actuators. The result was a true combination of craft, materials and technology.
